There’s something a tad unusual about the city of Lighthouse Point Florida, and it has to do with the history behind its name. Although it’s named after the Hillsboro Inlet Lighthouse, that lighthouse doesn’t belong to Lighthouse Point but to Hillsboro Beach instead. Lighthouse Point real estate has luxury condominiums like the French Villas, Sunland Gardens, and Beacon House but it also offers traditional Lighthouse Point homes in equal measure, such as the residences found in the communities of Coral Key Villas and Lighthouse Manor. If you’re curious as to what’s beyond Lighthouse Point, you’ll find even more excitement in the neighboring cities of Fort Lauderdale and Pompano Beach
Residents of Lighthouse Point are generally people with well established careers such lawyers, doctors and such. Distinguished authors, and affluent families who value the city’s large quantity of family skewed attractions and activities like North Broward Park and the Pompano Beach Golf Course are also among the people who’d most likely become your neighbor. Over in nearby Pompano Beach you can visit the Pompano Beach Airpark if you’ve already explored Lighthouse Point’s rich history. If Fort Lauderdale and Pompano Beach aren’t enough, there is also Boca Raton and Hillsboro Beach to explore.
