The city of Boca Raton Florida belongs to Palm Beach County.  Assuming you know any bit of Spanish, the name of the city literally translates to “Mouse Mouth”, a rather unusual name which has different origins depending on who you ask.  Boca Raton is well known for its rich diversity of residents as well as its rich history.  What people now recognize as the Boca Raton Resort & Club was once called the Ritz-Carlton Cloister Inn, a building built way back in 1926.  While the city is known for being home to an affluent community, Boca Raton real estate has numerous options that don’t necessarily cater strictly to an affluent audience.  You’ll find single family Boca Raton homes as well as many Boca Raton condos oftentimes located on or near the beach.
